Why No One Knows About Living Israel
For years, we have been quietly working on the ground, transforming lives and building communities without fanfare. Our focus has always been on doing the work—feeding the hungry, restoring homes, educating the young, and caring for the elderly. Today, we are extending an invitation to you. Join the Yeshua Tribe in this harvest and share in the rewards of bringing hope and love to the people of Israel.
Our Story and Beliefs:
Our story begins with a simple belief—that practical deeds of goodness can change the world. Inspired by this belief, a small group of dedicated individuals started Living Israel to serve the most vulnerable in their communities. They planted churches that would become beacons of hope and support, embodying the love and compassion that is at the heart of our mission.
Mission Statement:
“Our mission is to show the goodness of God to the people of Israel through practical love and good deeds, one community at a time. Aiming to inspire them to say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” Through every challenge and triumph, we’ve seen the incredible impact that love and faith can have. This is more than just a mission; it’s a movement driven by compassion and a desire to uplift those in need.
CORE BELIEF
Why
At Living Israel, we believe that the gospel is best expressed through loving others in a practical way. This core belief drives all our initiatives and is rooted in the conviction that showing God’s love through actions can transform lives.
Producing Life in Others:
We believe in “producing life in others” through practical love and good works. Where there is evil, there is an opportunity to show God’s goodness:
- Where there is crying, bring laughter.
- Where there is addiction, bring liberty.
- Where there is cold, bring warmth.
By doing this, we allow others to see our good works and praise the Father.
METHODS OF FULLFIMENT
How
Our approach is inspired by the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 25:31-40. We focus on:
- Feeding the Hungry: Providing meals through our soup kitchens.
- Welcoming Strangers: Offering support to new immigrants and refugees.
- Clothing the Naked: Providing resources to those in need.
- Visiting the Sick and Imprisoned: Providing care and support to individuals who are ill or incarcerated, helping them find hope and healing.
ACTIONS AND PROGRAMS
What
We operationalize our beliefs through various programs aimed at Israel’s most vulnerable populations:
- Soup Kitchens: Providing 2000 meals per month at no cost.
- Restoration Homes: Operating 10 homes across Israel for community restoration.
- Holocaust Survivor Assistance: Visiting Holocaust survivors regularly to provide relief, companionship, and dignity. We also host events, concerts, and dinners to celebrate and honor them.
- New Immigrant and Refugee Support: Coordinated efforts in Haifa and Rison lé Zion to assist newcomers.
- Refugees Displaced by War: Providing basic needs and ongoing support to refugees displaced by conflict, ensuring they receive the care and resources necessary to rebuild their lives.
- Support for Soldiers: Offering humanitarian aid, consulting services, and moral support to soldiers, helping them transition back to normal life and addressing their physical and emotional needs.
- Church Plants: 35 churches in 23 cities in Israel, 22 in Eastern Europe, 4 in London, and ongoing plants in Israel and other nations, including a new plant in Brooklyn, NY in 2024/25.
- Youth of the Nation: Focused efforts on reaching the youth of Israel through camps, retreats, and ongoing relationships.
- Bible School: Offering structured Bible education and ministry training.
Problem:
In the heart of Israel, many communities are struggling. Families face poverty, children lack educational resources, and entire neighborhoods yearn for a sense of hope and belonging.
Solution:
Living Israel steps into these stories with a heart to serve and hands ready to build. Through our church-planting initiatives, we provide spiritual guidance, community support, and practical aid. From educational programs to job training and direct assistance, our churches are lifelines for those in need.
In Tel Aviv, a city of contrasts, our recent church-planting initiative brought together over 100 families. What started as a small gathering grew into a vibrant community. We provided meals, educational resources, and a place of worship, fostering a sense of belonging and support.
